ISPO Member Societies

ISPO is structured in Member Societies, which are formed on a national or regional basis.

If there is a ISPO Member Society in your country, then your ISPO membership will go through the ISPO Member Society, otherwise you will become a member of ISPO International directly.

If you want to learn more about a specific ISPO Member Society, please click on a country in the list.

Formation of a new ISPO Member Society

If your country has no ISPO Member Society, all ISPO members are encouraged to join together on a geographical basis to facilitate local ISPO activities, promote the profession and to participate in ISPO governance through International Committee representation.

According to the ISPO International Constitution, a Member Society (MS) is composed of at least 5 members permanently resident within a country (country boundaries as those determined by the United Nations). No country will have more than one Member Society, such recognition being the prerogative of the Executive Board.

If members within a country are unable to meet the minimum criteria to form a national Member Society, they may join together with other interested individuals, associations, organizations, and institutions to form a regional Member Society.

Read more about how to create a Member Society in the Guidelines for the Formation of ISPO Member Societies.

How to proceed?

Please send the completed Application Form and Constitution back to the ISPO Head Office. Your application will be reviewed by the ISPO International Executive Board and you will be notified on the decision within a maximum period of three months.

For further information, please contact ISPO Head Office.
