
Held on a yearly basis since 1995, the 16th ISPO-France Congress was held on November 3-4 to foster debate, facilitate multicentric studies and provide appropriate sources to the Orthopedic field, the French Administration, and the French Agency of health security.
Throughout the years, the ISPO France congress has become the landmark for all professionals in the rehabilitation field, and the main reference in the French orthopedic environment.
The event was built around a strong multidisciplinary program gathering 58 European speakers including ISPO International President Elect Bengt Soderberg who presented ISPO International activities around the world.
Over 1,000 participants from various specialties attended the congress: Prosthetists/Orthotists, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Rehab Doctors, Physical Medicine Specialists, Physiotherapists, Occupationnal Therapists, Podo-Orthotists and Biomed engineers.

About 30 national and international companies showcased techniques and technologies in prosthetics and orthotics at the exhibition held in parallel. In addition, delegates could attend technical and interactive workshops, the ISPO-France Awards 2011 ceremony, a cocktail reception and gala dinner.
The French National O&P Union and the P&O industry international association INTERBOR held a special meeting during the Congress.
