Upon request, ISPO evaluates prosthetics and orthotics schools and education programmes throughout the world against its standards to reach ISPO Category I and II recognition. At this point, no training programmes have yet been evaluated against the Category III training guidelines.
ISPO helps with the establishment and development of P&O training programmes by providing advice and expertise. An ISPO evaluation consists of a detailed revision of the entire programme, including student entry requirements, teaching content, clinical training, quality and administrative procedures.
