ISPO’s major conference activity is the World Congress.
The event combines scientific sessions, round-tables, seminars, instructional courses and audiovisual presentations, with a large trade and scientific exhibition. It is held in different parts of the world, whereby the ISPO Executive Board seeks to retain an appropriate regional balance between the chosen venues while also seeking to ensure financial success of the event.
Starting from 2013, ISPO has changed the congress frequency from the former three-year rotation model to a two-year cycle.
ISPO International oversees and coordinates the organization of its World Congress through the World Congress Committee, Executive Board and ISPO Head Office staff, and in close collaboration with the hosting ISPO Member Society.
