BIENNIUM REPORT 2021-2023 22 Membership Presence in 113 Countries 3770 Total number for members for the Biennium 75 Number of National Member Societies: Meetings of the ISPO International Committee ISPO is structured into Member Societies (MS) that represent a country or region. Each MS is independent and implements activities that will further reinforce the ISPO mission and objectives within the MS country or region. ISPO Member Societies elect representatives from their membership to serve on the International Committee (IC). In addition to the MS representatives, the IC includes the Executive Board and other ISPO leadership. International Committee evaluates ISPO activities, advises the Executive Board as appropriate, and ensures that ISPO policies and plans reflect the various professional disciplines and interests, cultural identity, and geographical distribution of the ISPO membership. Committee as well elects the ISPO Officers (President, President-Elect, Treasurer) and Executive Board members. The International Committee met in June 2022. The main focus of the meeting was the introduction of the new Community Platform and ISPO Roadmap, and the consultation process to develop a new strategic plan for: • Strengthening and consolidating ISPO position within the rehabilitation and assistive technology • Adapting the Society to the evolving world • Improving transparency and efficiency of the Society governance • Increasing the membership • Retaining the membership Fellowship of ISPO Fellowship of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics is a special designation of individual ISPO members who have been registered with the Society for at least ten years and who have contributed to a high degree to the mission and goals of ISPO, or to the enhancement of P&O services in general, by personal achievement, integrity, reputation, and activities, including advancements in education, training, or research.
