BIENNIUM REPORT 2021-2023 8 This will involve developing clear and transparent processes for decision-making and ensuring that all members have a voice in shaping the future of the society. Strengthening National Member Societies By working together more closely with our national societies, we aim to ensure that our work has a tangible impact on the lives of people who work with and use assistive technologies around the world. This will involve building stronger relationships with national societies, providing resources and support to help them achieve their own goals, and promoting their work and successes to the wider community. Insights, key themes, & next steps 42 stakeholders contacted and 75+ National Member Societies were invited to give input, through surveys and workshops on these goals. Further insights were gained on the key topics, themes, and challenges for the sector in the next 3-8 years. The key themes that have been identified and that are being prioritized with the of input from NMS, key ISPO friends & partners, the board will be translated into a final coherent document and launched at the world congress in Mexico in April 2023. We have also held regional briefings in order to discuss the 2030 roadmap, the feedback received from members, to introduce new members of the Head Office, walkthrough the new ISPO Community Platform and provide valuable information from the membership committee on how to become more relevant and increase membership. 4 National Membership Society Briefings held by region: Europe – 13 registrants Americas – 12 registrants Asia – 11 registrants Middle East/Africa – 10 registrants
