ISPO World Congress 2019: First Announcement

The 17th ISPO World Congress will take place from 5-8 October 2019 in Kobe, Japan.
Entitled “Basics to Bionics”, the Congress reflects the breadth of ISPO’s programmes and projects in line with its mission, vision and unique multidisciplinary nature. More specifically, the theme captures that while – in cooperation with the wider rehabilitation community – we work on developing new service models and new technological solutions, we remain focused on ISPO’s very aim: the people who benefit from our services.
The scientific programme, through keynote speeches, symposia, instructional courses, free papers, posters and case study presentations, will highlight not only the cutting-edge state of the art in prosthetics and orthotics, but further looks at immediate to longer term future developments. The exhibition held in parallel will showcase new technological developments and robotics in use in rehabilitation.
Whether a service user, part of the ISPO community and the broader rehabilitation community or industry representative, the Congress will have something for everyone!
- Deadline for submission of Instructional Courses and Symposia: January 2019
- Registration opens: February 2019
- Deadline for submission of Free Papers: March 2019
- Early registration and hotel accommodation booking deadline: August 2019
