Meet the new Editors-in-Chief of Prosthetics and Orthotics International (POI)
Monday 18 February 2019
We are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2019, the new Editors-in-Chief (EIC) of the ISPO Journal, Prosthetics and Orthotics International (POI), are Stefania Fatone, Michael Dillon, Brian Hafner and Nerrolyn Ramstrand.
The new EIC team is composed of senior researchers, educators and experienced leaders with the collective experience and competencies who will bring a new vision for the journal.
Collectively the new EIC team has authored and published more than 200 peer reviewed journal articles covering a wide range of topics and research designs. Many of these publications have been highly cited, seminal works in prosthetics and orthotics. The EICs are respected as scientific, clinical, and educational experts. They have been invited to be peer reviewers for national funding agencies (e.g., the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the U.S. Department of Defence) and professional organisations (e.g., the Orthotic and Prosthetic Education and Research Foundation and the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association).
Each EIC is acknowledged worldwide for their research experience. They have received numerous professional awards, scientific conference awards, and invitations to deliver talks and keynote addresses around the world.
ISPO is extremely grateful to have such an amazing team to guide POI to a new era and ensure that POI maintains the journal’s high standards and quality.
