Mobility India’s Continuing Rehabilitation Workshop on Training of Trainers

Mobility India, accredited by Rehabilitation Council of India (New Delhi), organised a Continuing Rehabilitation Workshop on Training of Trainers in Bengaluru, India between 7-8 November 2019.

The aim of the 3-day workshop was to equip new and existing trainers in the healthcare professions with basic knowledge, skills and tools in higher education and to build confidence to provide effective stimulating training for their students.

The 26 participants who attended the workshop had very different backgrounds: Special Educators, Prosthetists & Orthotists, Physiotherapists, Rehab Engineers, Psychologists, Rehab Therapy Assistants, Clinical Trainers, Assistant Headmistress and students. Their experience ranged from 2 years to 11 years.

The course attracted participants from several states in India including Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Telangana, Maharashtra, Odisha and Karnataka, as well as from National Institutes like NIRTAR, NILD, and NIEPMD.

This workshop was a great opportunity for participants to get past their personal barriers and enhance their professional skills.
