Negotiations and collaborative work has been continuing with AT Scale, the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology, since the ISPO World Congress in Kobe last year and we have agreed on a scope of works, time frame and funding for building consensus on outcome measures to underpin and standardise data collection and guide research in lower limb prosthetics and define the core data set useful to the industry, national, and international institutions involved in policy-making and funding at an international level (i.e. the work currently being prepared by the IAG). This is an integral part of work from AT Scale in their programme to roll out access to assistive technology, including prosthetic (and orthotic) devices around the globe, significantly increasing the accessibility to those who need access to these services.
