The ISPO Member Society in Cambodia was created in 2013.

The main objective behind the creation of ISPO Cambodia is the improvement of the P&O services offered to people with disabilities (PWD) in Cambodia, by bringing the country up to the level of international standards in rehabilitation services. ISPO Cambodia expects to increase the level of discussion on P&O in the country, allowing for its experts' community to earn an advisory role within the field.

A number of concrete objectives have been set:

To preserve professional ethics
To share experience in the rehabilitation field
To build a P&O professionals’ network
To expand and continue educational development for P&O in Cambodia
To raise awareness both locally and internationally on their activities
To improve the quality of P&O services in general provided to PWD
