The Jakarta School of Prosthetics and Orthotics was established in 2008 under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. It is situated inside the compound of the Polytechnic of Health Sciences Jakarta (Kementerian Kesehatan RI Politeknik Kesehatan Kemenkes Jakarta 1). Currently, the school offers a 4-year full-time course leading to a National Bachelor of Applied Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics. The graduates from this program are then eligible for one additional clinical year to receive ISPO category I/professional P&O certification in addition to the national license.
