In order to raise awareness of the benefits and uses of prosthetic and orthotic devices, ISPO Sri Lanka has expressed its willingness to organize trainings and workshops. 

This new Member Society also intends on serving as an impartial and non-political coordinating, correlating and advisory body on prosthetics, orthotics rehabilitation engineering and other fields related to neuromuscular and skeletal impairment, working in collaboration with other national and international bodies. 

ISPO Sri Lanka wishes to effect scientific exchange among its members, encourage and guide research, development, education and training of the professionals involved and encourage and support all those responsible for care of patients and development of standards.
