during gait the pelvis naturally tilts up and down on the unsupported side; a gait deviation in prosthetics indicating a short prosthesis, movement in the sagittal plane, a gait deviation in prosthetics indicating either a short prosthesis, pain or discomfort, lack of weightbearing or bad habits.
