The 15th World Congress of ISPO was held in Lyon, France between 22 and 25 June 2015, under the guiding theme of “AIM: Assessment, Integration & Mobility”.
The theme of the Congress was “Innovations for Quality Living”, covering the clinical, technical, personal, professional, and societal dimensions of innovation.
Over 4,500 participants from 117 different countries were present at the Lyon Convention Centre for the congress activities: a rich scientific programme that comprised 3 keynote lectures, 120 paper sessions and over 250 poster presentations, and an exhibition with over 125 entities that presented the latest products and new technologies in the field of P&O and rehabilitation services.
A number of initiatives and meetings took place in the fringes of the World Congress, including the launch of ISPO’s awareness raising campaign #ISPOWER, the signing of an MoU with the newly launched International Confederation of Amputees Associations (IC2A).
