ISPO is structured with Member Societies (MS) representing countries or regions, International Committee that represents all Member Societies, the International Executive Board, and task-based Committees.
Each ISPO Member Society is independent and implements, within its own country or region, any activities that will further the mission and objectives of the International Society.
ISPO Member Societies elect representatives from their membership to serve on the International Committee. The International Committee consists of representatives of ISPO Member Societies, as well as the members of the Executive Board, and other ISPO leadership as invited.
The International Committee (IC) evaluates ISPO activities and advises the Executive Board as appropriate. The IC ensures that the policies and plans of ISPO reflect the various professional disciplines and interests, and the cultural and geographical distribution of the ISPO membership.
The IC elects the Officers (President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer) and Executive Board members of ISPO. The Immediate Past-President and all Standing Committee Chairs may join the Executive Board as ex-officio non-voting members.
ISPO undertakes various activities thanks to the work of its various Committees.
The ISPO Head Office in Brussels functions as the Society's Headquarters.
