Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (SSPO) offers educational programs to meet a variety of students demands including the international P&O programs at Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree levels. The school’s vision is to be a world-excellent prosthetics and orthotics school contributing excellent works to raise the quality of life for persons with disability worldwide.
Our undergraduate degrees include an international program that can be completed on campus or through distance learning study. Students from all across the world are being trained to become acknowledged prosthetist and orthotist through a rigorous 4-year program in which the emphasis is placed on education through real-world experience. Since 2009, the undergraduate program of SSPO has been an ISPO recognized course in category I level.
Program Highlight:
– Medical subjects are taught by medical professors from the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital.
– Early clinical exposure provides more than 2000 hours of P&O clinical experience in various settings.
– Research skills of students are developed through a series of research subjects and the completion of the research project.
